No Equipment for the Foundation Education Program
I was able to run this program successfully once without any problems, but once the program re-started, nothing would happen. I get deducted the price of the program, I have many prisoners interested in the program, and I have all of the equipment needed. Before posting this, I looked up this issue.

The recommendations I found to fix this issue were these:

1. Make sure that there weren't any "staff only" zones that would prevent the teacher from making their way to the classroom.

I checked, checked again, and even removed a "staff only" zone that was some ways away from the classroom just to be safe. A new day rolled around, and the same issue presented.

2. Make sure you're not waiting on anything to be delivered.

The classroom hasn't been modified since the first program, so I'm not sure how I could be waiting on equipment I already have.

3. Unzone the room and and stop the lessons and re-start them in a day.

I did that too, I waited three days just to be safe. Sadly, that didn't work either.

I'm really at a loss with this. I have to finish the grant "Education Reform Program" but that can't be done without the program working.

Any kind of help or assistance would be greatly appreciated :) I could be missing something, or maybe it's just a bug in the game. I understand this is an early access game and there are still bugs and glitches.

Here's a screenshot of the issue, I tried to include as much information in once screencap as possible. Thanks for reading!

Well, firstly I have to congratulate you on giving us a lot of information to work with here! Most people just say "it's bugged, fix it". You even posted a screenshot and everything.

Ok, anyway. I've never seen the "No Equipment" message before. I can't even replicate it on any of my prisons. I even tried designing one with practically the same layout as yours quickly on a small prison.

I thought maybe it's because your prisoners have to go through another job room to get there, but that doesn't seem to be a problem when I tried. Or I thought maybe under the door on the left you may have zoned the classroom, but it looks like it's just a Concrete Tile, rather than a room zone.

Fraid I can't help here.

I suppose I should ask - do you have any mods installed? If so, try uninstalling them.

I never heard something about "no equipment " for an education program.

You have enough student seats for your students in the room I guess?

Also you have at least one 3 hour work slot assigned in your daily regime?

And your teacher also can travel from the outside of the prison to the classroom (i.e. no permanently locked prison doors/gates on the way)?

I have 20 desks, which I believe is the maximum students allowed in one class. I have a 4 hour work shift scheduled from 1 - 4PM (which is the exact time for the class). There's nothing blocking the teachers way, as far as I can tell. I have two entrances to the prison, one a staff only door and the other a large jail door that is set on regular with a guard posted there to open/close it.

I'm thinking this may be a bug unique to this prison. This seemed to happen once I accidentally made two classrooms (misclick) and once I removed the accidental classroom block, things didn't work after that.

Thank you both for your responses! Hopefully I can get this figured out, if not I can always just make a new prison!

Hmm, have you tried actually making that accidental second classroom properly and furnishing that and rescheduling? Wonder if that'd affect it.

Also, did you check mods like I asked?

I don't have any mods, I've never tried to install any for PA. I will make another classroom and check back once that's finished!

Edit: It works! They only use one of the classrooms (the original) but it worked! Thank you thank you thank you.

what about the othere education program can you start that one up or do you get the same message?
Emmote May 12 @ 1:57pm
Cool. If you start a second program to use the second classroom, does that get the no items error?

Does the original program break again if you remove the new classroom? What about removing the old classroom?

I suppose it's fixed now so you might not want to find out ^^, but I'd be curious to test it and weed out the bug that's causing it and report it to the bugtracker.

Nothing really wrong that I can see but large jail doors are not necessary on your workshop. Use a standard wooden door with a metal detector to prevent theft. A wooden door on the classroom is all thats needed as well.
