Newb asking a Newby question
Just got the game. I know this is definitely a stupid question so please go easy on me. Do I need to install the alpha versions in order to enjoy Prison Architect. Or will I be able to play it as you guys are? Or does my game get updated automatically with all the changes?

Basically once I download and install Prison Architect from steam, do I need to do anything else?

Thanks in advance.

Nope. You'll get the latest version and it will auto update when a new build is out.
You can go back and try older alpha builds by DLing them from Introversion's website if you want.

That's basically how it works for any game on Steam, for future reference. Also some of the updates may be added but will not automatically turn on for this game sometimes. For example, they added failure conditions with the last update, but any prison save that existed prior to the last update has these disabled by default, so as not to automatically ruin the prison.

I like to do that anyway for later
having all of the alpha builds would be nice to see how the game developed
