Workers won't Complete Jobs

I have a brick perimeter wall and I queued a job to install a large jail door in the wall and the workers won't do it. I had them try and demolish a section of the wall and they won't do that either. No I can't get prisoners or deliveries to the delivery room. Please help ASAP

You can't build anything on/through perimeter walls.

Make sure you don't have any jobs queued on the other side of the wall that the workers are attempting to complete first. If you have no jobs and still having route issues, try hiring a worker on the other side to see if it makes any difference.
