Is there a way to use mods when its on safe mode with reduced textures?
My computer is in a really bad shape, and because of that, prison architect opens in a reduced texture mode, which dont change too much of the gameplay but when i try to activate a mod it wont work, it just shows the same message again saying that i should turn off mods and all but it dont apply the mod at all, i can click to apply how many times i want but the same "reduced textures" message will appear and disable them. Is there a way to dodge that?

Yes there is. But it's funky. You can override the default modfolder. Here's how to:

1. Open your steam library, rightclick on the Prison Architect game and select Properties.
2. Go to the tab Local Files, click the top button. It will open the windows explorer in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Prison Architect
3. Create a map called data
4. Open the file main.dat (it's just a zip file) with 7zip or winrar
5. Extract materials.txt and production.txt to the data map you just created, and open them.
6. Also open the materials.txt and production.txt from the tweaked staff food mod.
7. Search for stafffood and servingtable in the big materials.txt you extracted, then compare and add the extra lines from the mod.
8. Do the same for production.txt, besides updating a few existing production rules there are also some new rules added.
9. Save, profit. This will work in safe mode with no mods enabled.

Note: be sure to remember you stored some files in that data location. Whenever the game updates, these two files might not be valid any more. And funk stuff up. :)

I tried to follow what you said but i got lost on extracting the materials, i didnt find a way to open the map on the winrar and i dont know if it should be opened with word, if you could send me a video i would be happy

Rightclick main.dat, select Open with... then you can tell it to open with winrar. Don't edit the .txt files with Word. Use notepad instead.

i made a bit different of what you said, instead of doing all the map things, i just changed what were writen on the original production.txt and materials.txt from what were on the mod ( i deleted the staff meal things and installed the mod staff meal things while letting all the other lines untouched ) and it worked! now my other staff canteens receive food but the guards seems to ignore the food...
