Can't unlock trading cards?
I don't know what it is but for whatever reason I can't unlock the trading cards in this. I think it's something to do with the UPLAY program interfearing.

It regonizes that im playing on uplay but not on steam.

well I already unlocked my cards awhile ago. but you only get a few card drops before it stops (not just for this game, but for others as well)

And I never got my cards ever. When you go to the badges page you can see how many drops you have left. I still have 3 and I've never gotten 1 from this game.

the problem is the steam connection breaks whenever I play the game. And only the Uplay connection and overlay seem to stay intact.

that's strange dude. Because when I first played this game last year, all of my card drops was working fine. Back then, the only problem I had, was a lousy internet connection (CLEAR internet service sucked)

For me it worked to start uplay first, and after that starting the game through steam.

Not for me.

I noticed this the when I played the game for the first time as well. When I quit it after doing some tutorial missions, I hadn't unlocked any trading cards, and Steam said I had only played for two minutes. I think that was because when I launced the game in Steam, UPlay launced and updated, then I had to launch the game through UPlay.

Now though whenever I launch the game in Steam, UPlay launches and boots the game straight away, and Steam seems to now be counting playtime and giving me cards.

Maybe see if following these steps helps you? Not sure what else to offer.

I don't understand what these steps are.

It sounds like the only step is open the game through steam.

Which i've obviously tried already.

You might have tried this already but I make sure steam shows that I am playing this game. Sometimes when I launch the game my profile icon on the bottom right of steam stays blue, indicating that im not playing a game (even if its running on Uplay). So I just close the game and Uplay completely and then just boot it again through steam so that my icon turns green, indicating that I am playing a game on steam. I already got all my card drops for the game.

So your saying..

Open game with steam
let uplay and the game launch
If the game disconnects close game
open game again

Right? already tried this it didn't work.

yeah pretty much, I just close uplay along with it and hit play on steam again.

Have you all tried starting uplay first (don´t start the game through uplay, just have uplay running) and then launching the game through steam?
