Me, can you please post your system information (Steam -> Top menu bar -> Help -> System Information) and post it for example here:
http://pastebin.com/
Then give link in your post.

You also need to link your Steam and UberNet (register one if you don't have it yet) accounts here:
https://uberent.com/user/linksteam
Because automatic linking not working on Linux yet (no Steamworks SDK available for x86_64 games).

Also there is something you can try yourself. Try to run PA though console. It's might be crash because of game can't find libcurl or some gnome libraries (it's not required by game, but required by UI middleware based on Chromium).

okay, i go to register, i don't yet.

Then do this:
Right click the "Planetary Annihilation" in Steam library. Click Properties > Click Local Content > Click Browse Local Content.

It's should open PA directory in Dolphin, you should see "PA" executable and "host", "media", "tools" directories here. Then press F4, this should toggle built-in terminal window in Dolphin.
Now run "./PA" and try to find out what wrong, also post your console output on pastebin and link it here.

Other important note, even if you'll run game it's might have some issues with cursor as reported here:
http://pa.lennardf1989.com/Tracker/index.php?do=details&task_id=1390

You have two solutions for this:
1 - Enable TearFree and set "VSync always on" in AMD Catalyst Control Center, then open "Desktop Effects" configuration and toggle KWin to use XRender instead of OpenGL.
2 - Use latest open source drivers. There is few glitches, but average performance is much better with Gallium R600 and SB shader optimization backend ( R600_DEBUG=sb ).

I'm actually playing this game with R600g, but my GPU obviously much more powerful (HD 6950).

in terminal :

[aranud@localhost Planetary Annihilation]$ ./PA
bash: ./PA : fichier binaire impossible à lancer

In english :

Oh... sorry man, I'm so dumb... I never think that anybody still using 32-bit distributions :)
"Mageia 4" (32 bits)

This game don't have 32-bit version on Linux and won't have, ever. 32-bit version actually not really playable on Windows because most of games need lot of RAM.

32 bits with server kernel can use 64 Go RAM, if you look, i use kernel-server and steam show 4 Go RAM ... (it is not Windows)

error : http://oi44.tinypic.com/29mabld.jpg

So i must understand, it is game in x86_64, so, soon in 32 bits ?
Aranud Aug 24, 2013 @ 11:26am
It is don't write only x86_64 :

Configuration requise (Linux)
Minimum:
OS:Ubuntu 12.04/13.04, Linux Mint 14 & 15
Processor:64-bit Dual Core better
Memory:4 GB RAM
Graphics:Shader 3.0
Hard Drive:2 GB HD space
Additional:These specs are still being determined.

It is 64-bits processor not in system... :/

Even with PAE enabled applications in 32-bit Linux might not use more than ~3GB of RAM.

This game won't have 32-bit version on Linux, devs don't want to waste resources to support outdated architecture nobody use.

You should upgrade to 64-bit distribution, there is completely no reason to use 32-bit system when all processors are 64-bit since 2005 year.

It's alpha version of game, it's not finished yet and there is no final system requirements.
Aranud Aug 24, 2013 @ 11:32am
And why use 64bits ?
take more disk space... i can do all with kernel-server i586

But it is not the subject :D
