Fix for "PA.exe has stoped working" and other issues
Before you create new topic check following solutions.

DirectX 9.0c redistributables
These are really important. There is a dll we aren't shipping yet - d3dx9_43.dll. Please make sure your DirectX install is complete:

Graphics card drivers
- Are your graphics drivers up to date? No really; not updated two months ago... have you updated them in the last week?

Make sure you download your drivers from the graphics card manufacturer website:
Drivers on laptop manufacturer websites are usually outdated; don't use them to update video card drivers if possible.

Laptops and hybrid graphics
Most of laptops on market have two graphics cards. Even if your laptop have Nvidia GPU game will use integrated graphics which have lower performance and might cause crash if you forgot to update Intel graphics drivers.

Make sure you configure your drivers to run PA.exe on discrete graphics card.
Video how-to for laptops with Nvidia graphics:
And for laptops with ATI/AMD graphics:
If you have default Steam library directory then 64-bit executable located here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Planetary Annihilation\bin_x64\PA.exe
For 32-bit OS you need to use different executable:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Planetary Annihilation\bin_x86\PA.exe
Sound card drivers
- Are your sound card drivers up to date? Updating sound card drivers has fixed a number of people's crash-on-launch problems.

For Network and firewall:
- If you use firewall or anti-virus software add PA.exe to white list.

- Make sure TCP out from 9000 - 9032 is open in your firewall ; if you don't know how to do this, you'll need to google some tutorials, since it's different on every single router.
