  • System Builder is now available in experimental mode. No saving/loading of systems yet. Use mass to determine what planets can orbit other planets (only a lower mass planet can orbit a large mass body with the sun being the exception. No binary systems yet.) You can also add placeholder (simple primitive) planets in the system editor by pressing 'a'.
  • UI Updates: Mouse over on units provides significantly more detail about the state of the unit, and in the case of builders, what they're building
  • Ongoing improvements to unit flocking and flow field path finding
  • AI not only builds to advanced factories now, but fabbers will also assist now. Build air defenses!
  • Metal spots now have a mode where you can turn on a strategic icon for them.
  • Particularly useful on mostly water planets.
  • Advanced bombers will no longer do double damage to primary target (main damage + splash)
  • Commander can no longer build nukes or anti-nukes.
  • Ctrl-P now has more modes. It cycles between Client, Server and Sim stats.
  • When reporting "lag" or framerate issues, please make note of the frame rate on each of these pages as it's helpful in determining where the problem was with performance.
  • Random name cycle button for planet editor
  • Fix for linux not translating Ctrl+[key] and Shift+[key] key presses properly
  • The client should now make use of your display name if you have one set (
  • Never ending circle nukes shouldn't any more.
  • Quick match now is 1v1, and also fixes an issue where quick match frequently wasn't working.

1.) Could you please include friendly AI behaviour for fabrication units so they will automatically repair nearby buildings and units or perhaps include a 'repair zone' option so they will automatically repair anything nearby?

At the moment the micro-management for repairing structures takes too much time when trying to wage war at a huge scale.

2.) Also, the AI air bombers are far too successful in their bombing runs. Not so much a hitpoint / damage point kind of thing, but more so the speed at which they are able to take out structures. In combination with radar buildings, the anti-air structures and units probably should have a superior spotting range.

This way it should also force the AI to do a land based attack on anti-air first before being able to do hugely successful bombing runs.

3. ) Finally, is there a way to queue up the building of wall structures or any other type of buildings as existed in Supreme Commander 2 or will this be implemented at some point? I'd love to queue up building 5 anti-air turrets or multiple power plants. Would save lot's of time waiting for a unit to finish.

By holding the shift down while setting up buildings, you can que a great many of them... I have normally 20-30 buildings in a que for each of my builders, and my commander...

Caps lock will also allow you to always see your queue.

The AI in all of my games doesn't do anything than build a single power station. Am I missing something?

This is alpha, currently AI only should build few extractors, energy plants and bombers/fighters.

And sometimes it's just do nothingif it's not find metal near to base or just for unknown reason. This is normal.

The game is unresponsive since this update. I could run it fine before, now it stays on the black screen when I start it, which sucks because it's just starting to get good playing on multiple planets.

Please upload your DxDiag.txt somewhere (e.g ) and link it here.
Run DxDiag tool (Start > Run > type "dxdiag" without quotes), press "Save All Information" button and upload your DxDiag.txt.

There is such problem for Intel HD 2000/3000 users:
Probably you have discrete card you can switch to, I can check it if you upload DxDiag.

ahm sry, but ..... i thougt this game is the best one of all real time strategie games .... but .... it is the same like Supreme Commander :(

This game made by people who previously worked on TA and SupCom, they steal from themselves?

And actually this game share very few ideas with SupCom, this game is took much more basic ideas from Total Annihilation actually: no upgrades, no super units, no sheilds, less defensive gameplay in general. This game also have new completely different graphics, brand new engine and mostly everything done not like in supcom...

I can'r really understand how you might see SupCom here, seriously. Only things which are same it's stream economy and nukes.

This is alpha and it's dedicated mostly for game engine and basic systems testing. And also it's not really optimized, so everybody play on small planets because otherwise both client and server simulation performance will drop to unplayable level.

Everything will change in terms of gameplay near to release and post-release (i'm think it's where most of balancing will be done).
