Hey! why not 200$
We live in a perfect world where peoples think that if you buy something coast that mutch, you got a good thing. I am pretty sure this game is a empty bubble to make cash. After they get there money they will never give the delivery!

It were supposed to be $900, but they did a typo when putting it in :D

On a serious note, im kind of amused how people think it's a "bubble" based on the high price, while if the price was lower they would apparently not think it was a buble.

And honestly, why not $200?
Shouldn't the developer be allowed to price the game as they want?
I mean, at $200 they would miss out on a lot of money since almost no one would buy it, but they should be allowed to price their product exactly like they want. So why would anyone get mad over the pricing, just move on to another game if you don't like the deal here.

The game will be $40 roughly £30 at release in December, probably less when the sales season starts

They already has $200 version :DDDD

To be fair, if you want to pay $200, there is an option for that on their website :P.

Realize at $90 you're still buying the "CE" of the game. You're not buying what is the "barebones" copy of the game.

Yes, and the CE includes neat wallpaperz and fancy art bookz, it's a steal of a deal.

Your cynicism is noted. The point is that CEs are indeed overpriced, this one included. But they have become a pretty standard practice, or at least, people don't start 80+ pages of threads commenting on those prices.

With that in mind, it becomes reasonable to see that its not an added $50 just for access to the alpha.

EDIT: Its also worth noting that there isn't really any confirmation the Galactic Edition will reduce in price from $90 once the game releases.

I agree with the OP.

$200 would be consistent with their arguments. It would allow them to raise capital, limit the alpha numbers and the price will drop to $40. No one is forcing you to buy it. Plus many of our kickstarters have paid this and we have to be fair.
