Beware your investment, previous Uber titles are dead
I am an individual who had put faith into this company in the past and I would just like to share the following.

Uber started with Monday Night Combat on the Xbox in 2010, followed a bit later on the PC in 2011. They ditched the entire user base of these paid releases by publishing a free to play title called Super Monday Night Combat in 2012 which meant Monday Night Combat was put to rest.

Later that year the user base of Super Monday Night Combat was ditched by announcing they were working on a new game while Super Monday Night Combat was in a state of broken matchmaking and fragmented gameplay thanks to a rapid release of two additional game modes while the main game mode was not even able to suffice a user base.

I hope you now many understand why certain users express criticism towards Uber regarding this next title release of theirs. I am an individual who has invested 283 hours into Super Monday Night Combat, and well over 100 euros into its item market.

EDIT

Here is an interesting graph representing what I have explained above:

I haven't seen anyone mention it except you. I think most people are just complaining because of the price issue.

Good to know. All the more reason not to buy this until its finished.

Careful, the defense force is out in full right now. MNC was fun, too. It's a shame that it's dead. :c

He raises a good point For all the awesome RTS stuff they've done alot of their more recent games are not very well played.

SMNC isn't dead. It just isn't paying for itself. Its still easy to get a match.

MNC is dead.

Last time I played I could not find any game in a party, and I could not find a match solo queueing Europe.

What did they do to resolve these desolation issues? And why are less than five hundred users playing this game on Steam?

Dude, I think I'm in love with you. I thought everyone had forgotten about MNC and SMNC.

I didn't back the Kickstarter of this because these developers have shown time and time again that they aren't exactly worth supporting.
Sadly people with TA nostalgy who have never heard of Uberent are easy prey.

Nice one, first post, you're called a troll outright. I think that pretty much speaks for itself...

Their previous game also had an extensive ingame cash shop, because that's the best way to get money for sports cars.

I think the best Uber-related hilarity I remember was when SMNC started seriously failing and they tried to get the player base to mine Bitcoins for them in exchange for lockbox keys.

I'm serious. They actually did this.
