set commander, no explosion at beginning?

hi, in version 68331? when i set the commander at the beginning, there was a laser in to the sky and i start with a big explosion that burn trees and the bottom etc.
now i cas see only when the trees are burning but there is no explosion anymore,

how i can fix it? or is it a patch problem?

It's not a problem.

It's the work in progress commander spawn animation.

They took the landing animation out because it looked pretty weird and just wasn't ready yet. I think they plan to add it back in when they have something better.

yeah tehre should be a deployment BOOM or landing on plent with your commander

Yea and a small crater with the commander encased in some kind of protective shell in the middle. The shell blows off and the commander slowly stands up from a kneeling/crouching position. That'd be SICK

I think the plan is to actually have the commander fall out of the sky. The last animation confused some people because it looked more like someone was shooting at you or something. When this game gets closer to release I'm sure little things like that will get more work.
