Planet exploded in the first minute, before anyone selected their landing zones.

Titles says it all. Just started a 9 player game and one of the planets just exploded. The game was called off and a difference system was chosen.

Any ideas how a planet could blow up that early in the game. Like I said, no-one had landed on any planet.

Nvm, Turns out whoever designed the system has 2 planets orbiting in opposite directions.

Ah. I remember that system.
It was on Galactic Campaign thing. I had to restart the campaign because of that.

Yeah, It was a good thing I was taking so long to pick my starting spot as my commander would have been wiped out before we'd even start.
