Gmr, let's not tempt them :p
Unodus, if you have any relevant information that you don't wish to post here, you can try the proboards[godus.boards.net], since 22Cans have no influence there (also no registration required on the open board). If you don't want to reveal it publicly just yet, then you might want to talk to someone who has more influence and was already able to contact the media (Gmr Leon[godus.boards.net] perhaps) or some other senior members like 13thGeneral[godus.boards.net].
I'm relatively "new" here and the purpose of these posts is only to serve as a reminder of what is and what was happening. I also do not wish to spread information with no real source. If you'd still like to contact me, then feel free to PM the account with the same name here: totallytim[godus.boards.net].
We can hope!
I suspect that much of the delay has been the new team just getting their heads around the code base.
Would be good if they were cleaning up code too... but let's not put ideas in their heads for even more delays!!
It's the only logical reason why they've taken so long. Other than having inadiquate coders for the job. I mean Fabs() and co left. They where experienced with the code base. There where no experienced coders for that code base left on the project (that I'm aware of as they where all moved to the trail then fabs() and pavel left).
Some of the remaining coders where "bro" coders. Luckily the guy who designed the "AI" and path finding has moved onto the trail. Hopefully he'll stay there.
I miss my chats with ex 22cans staff. I suspect the recient change of guard of the CM's is to sure up a more strick corperate feel. I.e they work for 22cans now and not for us. A more strict reporting structure. Hence why simon and colin are in the loop now. They no doubt get damage reports etc.
I can personally say that previous members of 22cans actually did give a damb and where letting out info to some of us about goings ons. That's all I'll say about that. Fabs() for example has made it clear in a blog post on what his feelings where about why he left.
I want to put something next to my copy of Spore.
Another delicious update, TT, keep it up!
