This review might be offensive to some.
Postal is a rightly controversial game by Running with Sisscors, it's balls to the walls grim and all about committing mass genocide for fun.
Isometric shoot 'em up with a focus on a variety of weapons used to painfully dispatch your opponents. Using the arrow keys or the mouse to move and shoot, X when you have committed the act of violence and they beg for your mercy, you can kill them with that X key. You must kil a certain percentage of the filth that roams in front of Earth and then hit F1 to continue to a next area requiring your cleansing.
Extremely difficult in later difficulties due to the way the rockets track, this can be rectified via holding CTRL but leaves you open to attacks from other NPCs.
Graphics obscure the player model making it hard to identify where you are in-game.
Use the number keys 1-9;0 to change weapons that you collect during the episodes. Burn them alive and watch them turn into crispy human bits or blow 'em up and hear their screams!
Grim industrial music booms
A mixture of 3D models superimposed onto a 2D isometric view of your character, giving the game a very hand-drawn feel.
Shoot or die. Literally there is all to it, different weaons such as Molotov Cocktails produce large AoE of flame causing DoT effect on the place it is thrown and the person that is on fire.
The Postal Dude is to cleanse the Earth of all that remain.
Passable recommendation, due to it's difficulty and short length.
