I just read up on this stuff. I knew nothing about it prior to 1 hour ago, and I'm seriously going to stop calling myself a gamer now. How pathetic are they, to be so threatened by some games that are not for them, that they don't have to buy or even take notice of, that they pour on the vitriol and threaten someone's life, bodily integrity, family, livelyhood. How cowardly, to be doing annonymously from the safety of the intenet and from large mobs of like-minded pseudonymed losers. Have they burnt any books lately? And if they don't even see that this is wrong, if they have no empathy for the person or people they are doing this to, if all they feel is the glorious warmth from the fires of hate for the people they don't like and would be quite happy to rape, beat up, or kill...
...they can all ♥♥♥♥ off out of our Western democracies with its avdanced technology and great civilisations and go live in the Middle Ages -- otherwise known as "Joining ISIS".

It's like all these Star Trek "fans" who were up in arms over the diversity of the cast and characters. It's like they've never actually wantched the damn show.

You might want to spend longer then an hour. It sounds like you read up about the bogey man that certain groups have been painting GG as, rather then the positions held by the people in it. See if you can find any evidence supporting the claims that GG actually did any of the death threats or that their harrassment consisted of much more than disagreement. I never could.
