Misleading co-op tag on the store page

Thank god I've read the forums before buying, almost got tricked into buying 2 copies to play with my brother!

There isnt an option to play it with another player. The only thing you do is share the same map as other players and name planets.

Don't get me wrong, the game looks awesome (I've tried the prototype/free version and loved it) and I'm still gonna buy it but I'll wait until we get a better discount.

I'm just disappointed that it doesn't have a real co-operative component :\

um guys it is co-op it is a community effort to explore the whole galaxy..... sure you can't interact with other players but don't let this game pass you up it is the best game I have ever played.

Can you tell me where it says that there's no player interaction on the multiplayer component based on the description, because I can't see it...

It only said you share the map and collaborate. That is interaction. There is even a way to make private maps with friends. It encourages cooperation between players. It never said you would encounter them.

co-op generally means playing with another person/s at the same time. This should have a totally different online label. Good thing I checked here before buying 2 copies.

Co-op can mean more than one thing. Everyone working on comon goal is a type of co-operative play. It's not misleading, but wether or not it should have another label is a question definition and corporate politics. Asychronous co-op is still co-op.

Like anything, doing researsh is smarter than jumping blind into something.
