"- Maps now visualizes players previous travels across the galaxy"

Does this mean our own path? This will be amazing for orienting the map with constellations and whatnot I think.

Has anybody a clue what does the button do? Or is it just new unavaible feature? Thanks.

My guess is it shows named planets.

The button under the screen? When I press it, my flight path goes away and certain planets also go away (named or unnamed, visited or unvisited, doesn't seem to matter). I think it might be able to provide possible clues about finding the anomoly planet, when used in combo with observatory planets and the constellation clues, it shows some kind of level of the system....but I'm not sure. I'm probably wrong xD

The button under the screen seems to hide planets that are would be behind your focused planet.

To test this out yoruself rotate your map a little, and note how the planets in the foregrond move with the opposite way to the ones in the background. Toggle the switch and it removes the foregrond planets.

I thought it hides all planets that are behind the location of your ship (depending on your point of view). I haven't really tested that theory, I'm confused enough by everything else in this game already.

Edit: Seems like I was 3 minutes late. :v

Flipping that switch under the monitor also causes the selected planet to to be circled in the skybox around your cockpit.

Where is this new button? I see a new rectangular-shaped thing to the bottom-right of my screen, but there is no way to click or interact with it..

Nevermind I won.

gna how do I get that button to work? Or the ones in the lower right for that matter :(

The switch under the monitor doesn't seem to activate until you've visited an observatory.
