French subtitles ??

We are now in 2016 I still can not find a info on french subtitles . May have claim to have a translation? if so when ? Thank you for your answers.

There are currently no translations on the game. The devs have said they won't address it until after the game is completed.

Clearly English isn't his/her first language. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I think he probably just meant text. If he doesn't have the game, he also wouldn't know if there's voice or not without watching a video or something.

I am not attacking your answer. Giving him or her the benefit of the doubt and assuming they understand the difference between sous-titre and traduction, I ask if subtitles are needed for the music, because
a) it is harder for a non-native speaker to understand spoken words than written words, and
b) we can actually provide transcriptions/translations for the songs right now, since they don't involve dynamic text.

As the mouse icon shows, 75med owns the game, but nonetheless they may not have played it yet.

Hi 74med, just to add to what's been said so far: because of this game's artistic approach, it involves a massive amount of text to read, much of which is poetic or surreal. It will be a very challenging job for any translator, so I suspect that translations will arrive very slowly if at all.

On the other hand, because of how the game works, you can't "lose" or make a "wrong" choice, and you can take all the time you want on each environment and interaction. If you have enough English to read, say, a play or a comic book, then this game might be accessible to you.

Vu la lenteur à laquelle les épisodes sortent, tu peux encore attendre longtemps je pense. D'autant plus que comme tu peux le voir sur la page, il n'y a qu'anglais de disponible. Pas espganol, allemand rien. Donc bon pourquoi français? M'enfin bon, il n'est jamais trop tard pour commencer à apprendre l'anglais. Apprendre une langue en jouant à un jeu se fait très rapidement. C'est comme ça que j'ai appris l'anglais moi. En bonus, tu peux jouer à des jeux que en anglais comme le nouveau shadowrun.

Vous pouvez déjà bénéficier des sous-titres français.
Pour cela , il suffit, pour l'instant, d'aller dans les propriétés de votre jeu, de choisir l'onglet BETAS et de sélectionner testing-public.
Le jeu sera alors mis jour et vous permettra, après avoir choisi notre langue lors du lancement du jeu, de bénéficier avec un peu d'avance des sous-titres français...
