Hotels?

There's a problem with the hotels.. and then it doesnt say anything when you click the unbuilt hotel and the hotel never gets constructed. Am I doing something wrong here? :/

I am having the very same problem. the smallest motels seem to work but when i try to build the bigger Hotel it will never build. its a bare slab foundation. ive tried building in different zones but they all do the same thing. im not sure why. can anyone help ?

it could be that you asked donald 'i gots some animal nesting on my head' trump to build your hotels and he pocketed your money.


are you on a map that allows for holidays

if not then you are on the wrong kind of map which means no holiday hotels will be available to be placed even with the unlocked buildings cheat.

or it could be that you have too many or the wrong type of hotel or that you just dont need them right now. no demand!

keep in mind that business hotels are not the same as holiday hotels and you have to put the correct ones.

also keep in mind as the city groups you must supply public transportation to the business hotels otherwise they will not be occupied.

also best to put business hotels next to offices with some pubic transportation...

youtube has a lot of nice videos also xlnation.net has lots of support and addons, some that may let you get around limitations and restructions found in the games logic.

finally they give you a complete copy to the source code for all the game logic with the game , go take a look and its real easy to create a mod that does exactly what you like, but dont forget to publish it so we can all enjoy it. ;)
