On February 27, an old-school shooter WRATH: Aeon of Ruin was released on the Quake 1 engine with a dark atmosphere and a gorgeous soundtrack from Andrew Hulshult. This is exactly what Quake 2 should be!

lol how much customization did you guys have for congfigs back then. like res and fps and so on? like what was it like playing on the og hardware you guys did? or even doom as well if u played that. like did you guys just boot it up and play or did you guys get to tweak the settings as well. im 25 born in 99 so this might explain some of my questions without knowing that stuff back then. or even dosbox stuff is so cool to me. what was the gaming experience back then! thank you for your time...

Holy Moly this is incredible. There is just so much to unpack here but needless to say this is a mandatory play for just about everyone. The level of detail, the scripting, the tempo, the pacing the level design, it is such an unbelievably KINO. It is like playing a mayor AAA release and it does not look like it has aged a day, especially with the return of boomer shooters, this is the best time to be playing this. I cannot recommend this enough....
