No, but keep in mind that if you register your RO2 account via steam you will need to use the steam login method and steam wallet. This account won't be able to use the WarpPortal payment systems for this RO2 account. In the long run for you it will be the same either way, but there are intermittent promotions done on the WP and on Steam that don't always overlap, but we can't allow mixing and matching of payment methods else it will cause both Steam and us many problems.

If you love steam, register here, it is quite easy to login and such.
