Just no. It's not a bad game, but definitely not my cup of tea.
The setting is unique - underwater world full of sea life. World is beatiful and levels are rich in details. Graphical style is unique. Sounds are beefy and music fits the atmosphere. Controls are weird. They definitely are bound to rhythm and you have to learn it. Mechanics are simple - collect things, shoot and destroy obstacles and enemies. Often you have redirect bumpers to lanuch things to destroy something. You are often required to time things and that's what I personally hated. Constant timing of movements, not getting hit, doing things in time... zzzzzzz. Nope. I don't like it.
Performance and controls are fine.
You can see that I'm bored, and I don't enjoy it. Yep. The setting and mechanics don't appeal to me. I just hate timing actions in game and that's what this game is about. I had to redo certain parts several times and that just killed fun for me. I can't enjoy a game that is constantly punishing me. Just let me get to another checkpoint. Nope, you have to time things right... Pffff, bog off.
The best time I had with this game was the moment when I hit "uninstall" button and I knew I would not launch it anymore. That was a good time.
