I'm not sure to understand you question but here are some informations that may help you.
In the game you have three game mode:
- The first is the adventure mode where you are playing each level after another. Finishing a level unlock the next one until the end. To start it just select new game, select a save slot and begin to play. Later, to continue, choose "select a file", choose your save slot and then "Continue adventure" or select one of the two other modes below.
- The free mode: once a level is unlock in the adventure mode you can play it again and try to have a better score by finishing the level more quiclky.
- The spirit mode: like for the free mode, once a level is finished in the adventure mode you can play it in spirit mode. In this mode you have to first trigger a special zone with the seed and then try to collect all the spirit before the time is over. Notice that if you are more advanced in the adventure mode your powers are bigger and this mode is more easy.
Here is a link that show the three game mode : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=157914452
