Distribute on Linux?
There are quake linux clients like GLQuake or Darkplaces, so why isnt it on linux?

You got to ask Steam ppl about it

FodQuake runs very well on linux (quakeworld only).

Yeam, I got the hole ID pack. Like to have the direct port into STEAM as well.

I'm wondering the same thing. While I do have the huge cardboard box of the official Linux release from the 90s, it would be nice to have it here on my Steam account as well.

In general it's odd that a game that has official ports for Windows (yes, that's a port, not the original release platform), Mac OS and Linux (and even Amiga, Nintendo 64 and Sega Saturn) to only have one of the ports available.
