any way to remove all the pixelation on Glquake

also try the ultimate quake patch

and get some item/map textures somewhere not from Quake Reforged because they haven't updated that♥♥♥♥♥♥in ♥♥♥♥ing years.

I would live with the "pixelation" because the texture packs completely mutilate the atmosphere.

I personally have never found any of those kind of updated/upgraded graphics packs to better than the original. It's like drinking store brand cola.
I've most recently used DirectQ http://mhquake.blogspot.co.uk/ to play. It runs on modern systems and has some basic improvements like higher resolutions, but gives you the original experience.

I kinda gree with tco actually, the same with hi rez packs for Doom and the 3d models instead of sprites...some things about it are just off. I have a new appreciation for the grittyness of original engines.

There are graphic mods out there, but in the end it's a game made in 1996 and if you can't deal with the default graphics, tough luck.
