Quake on Mac OS
I know Quake can be run on Mac OS, it's probably one of the most ported games ever, so there's a version of it for just about everything you can imagine; however I think that it's odd that the Steam version of Quake doesn't run on Mac OS because the first time I saw Quake it was running (an official iD version, I would assume) on a Cyan eMac in a Best Buy in 1998ish. I think it would be a nice perk if the Steam version had Mac compatability without the need for any modding or effort on the users part.

I do agree that steam should releas it for Mac OS, but until they do, there are TONE of great engines out there. I personaly use Darkplaces most of the time, and glProQuake 4.37 sometimes.
