Question.....Will there ever be a mod library/ level library for Quake & Quake II?

I dont know if this is the place to ask this but I thought I would anyway,,,,,I'm a Quake player from long time back (ok since day 1 MANY moons ago) I remember when you could find SCADS of levels/mod packs/ weapon packs/ ALL KINDS of packs! to add to your game....I was hoping that now Quake is on Steam there would be that kind of library here.....If there is I havent found it....If anybody know where it is please tell me....and if there isnt there should be.

I doubt we'll ever see Steam Workshop support for Quake (hah), but Quake Injector is almost as easy.
