Hi could I run this game?
I love gaming but I don't think my PC is very good. I wish I could run newer games like battlefield or risen 1..but I'm afraid my pc might struggle with quake. My specs are: AMD Radeon 7800 series (GDDR5), Windows 7 Ultimate Edition 64bit, 16gigs RAM (says ripjaw i dont know what that means), i5-2400k quad core. If I could run this let me know and I really hope to be able to run Battlefield 4 on low someday or I hope for Risen 1. sorry bad english, thanks agan :)

Man I sure hope your kidding. Those specs would run this game perfectly, Quake was built off Dos back in 1996. So in simple terms, you could run this game pretty easy. But I must warn you though, this game was not made for anything higher then Windows XP. But it will still run even on the newer operation systems. Such as Windows 8.1 with little to no problems. But if you wanna make sure this game will run, you might wanna check in with some ports. Like DirectQ or Darkplaces. Those two keeps to the original with some added options to keep the feeling of a modern style shooter, But unless you are like me, you wanna make the original downloaded version of Quake running on your computer. In which this case it will run right after the download is finish. But keep this in mind, The game is old, so its bound to have problems with out some fixing up to do. You can look though the guides in the community to help your self to fixing some problems, or picking your self up with some modern ports as I mention.

But as a simple answer for you, Yes it will run perfectly for you.

He's freaking kidding. This game is from the '90's. Practically any modern computer can run it. And I hope you're kidding too; your specs are top notch.
