Quake mapping issues

So i had to clear my PC last week. Then i installed the level editors. and now i keep getting errors like "could not find specified export path" when i compile my maps (this is happening for both of the editors i use, Worldcraft and Jackhammer).

How the hell could it not find the specified path? it doesn't make sense at all. i had to browse through the paths in the configurations, how can it NOT find the specified path?

If the path name for your Quake install has a space in it, maybe that's causing a problem? I can imagine that being the case for Worldcraft, although it would be surprising for a newer program like Jackhammer.
