For anyone downloading it, make sure you also get the patch[www.quaddicted.com]. (This is the "ad_v1_42patch2.zip" file linked on Quaddicted or on its ModDB page. There was an older patch but you don't need that one anymore.) Install the mod first in some mod folder, then put the patch's files in on top of it, to add or replace some of the mod's files. The patch fixes a lot of stuff, adds support for some other Quake engines, and adds two more maps.
And if it's been a while since you downloaded Quakespasm, you might also want to get the latest version of that[quakespasm.sourceforge.net]. Arcane Dimensions is made to work with the version of Quakespasm that was released on Jan 18.

Also, the Mark V Quake engine has had an official/stable release. This is similar to Quakespasm, but several other nice features and quality-of-life stuff, and good default settings. Worth a look: http://quakeone.com/markv/
