Heythere,

Have fun in Mousewood,

I love your games Kosmonape/Daedalic, and while I have never had a technical issue with any of them so far (GOG versions), it is always nice to see the devs take the time to post on your games forums.

(I have it wishlisted, and will pick it up soon - even at full price. You folks are more than worthy).

If you keep creating these great games, I will continue buying them. Isn't that pretty awesome how that works?

- says: I love Daedalic too. :)

Thank you very much! It's always nice to see that there are people like you who appreciate our games. As you already stated without our fans we are nothing so. Thank you again and be assured: We will continue [Goodbye Deponia will be released coming ~fall]

btw. love that headcrab ^_^

Is the game so big that there is a very long wait time to load a new game? I've had to wait for 5 minutes now and it's still supposedly loading a new game. I've reloaded and restarted the game itself and the computer. It seemed to install correctly and without issue.

Due to the new game not starting and error occured stating that it didn't or couldn't start and directed me to a troubleshooting page where directions were given to try to fix the problem. I was asked to go into my steam folder and delete the "appcache" filefolder and restart the computer. I did so and I am still having the same problem.

I also temporarily disabled my Norton smart firewall and antivirus and I am still having the same problem. TheVisionaire Player shows an error saying - Cannot start game (app already running) Having read the troubleshooting page it directed me to and completed the options it gave me I'm not sure what else to do. I'd love to at least start the game since it has received good reviews, looks and sounds good. This is dissapointing, but I'd still really like to play it. Any suggestions please?

What OS do you run? And for now, try to disable the option for high-quality videos.

XP, tried switching languages and HQ but nothing helped. Carolin from daedalic wrote me: t's a known Win XP Problem. You can try to install your sound driver again, then it should work. Didnt helped either

Hi there, since I we haven´t a thread in Gog where I preordered it and I haven´t see the problem in Daedalic forums I post the same; I have sound in the fmv,but something is weird; the "Daedalic" intro video has sound, like the menus and the game itself. So I switch in the settings tab to "no HQ video". The problem is, that when I started a new game, the video is again in HQ,and in the settings tab appear enabled, like if the setting didn´t get saved. If I put the game in "no HQ" again and I see a video in the bonus tab, the video runs fine, but still no sound.

I have Windows XP too, and sorry if I wrote all this too messy : s

P.S Your games are so great, and I have waited for a game so adorable long time : ) thank you!

Thanks for all the info! We're battling each issue and preparing a patch, i'll get back to you about FMV sound later on, when our tech guys will come up with the solution :)
Drerhu May 29, 2013 @ 4:13pm
Well, I bring new info : ) It looks like yeah, the has some type of problem with the saving: for example, Deponia, if you put "no hq videos" in the settings, and you start a new game, you will see the Intro video in low quality and it appears in the bonus tab. But with Night of the Rabbit this don´t work; if you have seen the intro video and change the settings, the video don´t appear even when you have already seen it and the settings are the same. I tried to uninstall my old sound driver (Realtek) and reinstall a new version. Still the same (Deponia works flawslessly, but Night of the Rabbit haven´t sound in the videos, the rest works perfect).

Here´s my specs:

Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz

2 gig ram

Nvdia 7100 nforce 630i (integrated graphic card).

(The game runs fine, and Deponia too).

I tried to disable sound acceleration but still the same.
