does this software connect to internet at all?
how is the storage system, do I have to be connected to steam to use it? does it use cloud storage in anyway? what if steam dies, does my project die? are my projects saved in some external format?

Does steams policy of scanning files give them ability to read?

I think you understand my concerns at this point.. please clue me in

Hi Mike,

when creating an articy:draft project, you decide where to place your project directory. All project data will be stored there.

Some users have chosen to place that folder within a dropbox folder, so files get synced to other computers or used that as a personal backup strategy.

Steam reads files of the application to detect tempering and to replace them with the intended ones. This is not done for project data files.

If steam dies we can pick up you license code and authenticate them with our own licensing service.

So I think you are safe.

Hope that gives you clue enough.
