Easy to use?

I was just curious- before downloading the trial for this program, I wanted to know how easy is it to pick up and use articy if you have little or no programming experience? I've always been interested in games and the possibility of making one, but coding always kinda intimidated me. Is this something that, with a little time, can be used to maybe make a simple game or two? Or is this specifically for people that want to put the time and effort into making a marketable product? Any constructive input/critiques welcome!

If you couldn't tell, this isn't a "game maker" type program. This is a design program that streamlines and amplifies the design process of a game. Everything has to be coded and implemented still, but this program is here to make that as simple as possible. Good for pipelines. Bad for "making a simple game or two".

It's baffling that people get so confused about what Articy does.

Articy is incredibly easy to use, and DOES NOT MAKE GAMES.

ok i wasn't clear on that- i've heard of little indie-game making softwares out there and i was intrigued. i watched the tutorial video for articy and i thought it was a game maker- don't sound so smug North ;) it's hard for us non-programmer people to figure this ♥♥♥♥ out. Even on the advertizing they say it's for "game design". When I read "game design", to me that means I could make a functioning game on here, but that's why I asked first- it seemed a little more "pro" than what I am looking for.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound smug. Also, I'm not a programmer. I don't know code, I just do design.

You may wan to check Construct 2 or Game maker, seems more to be what you're looking for.
