DIVO

I bought Divo and...
This game is kinda rockin', kinda funny seeing the little hamster moving around but all in all a really cool platformer with nifty elements. I put together a video, I would rather you guys check out the game-play.

This game is for everyone looking for a cool leap or faith platformer with some smart levels that will test you out if your going for a huge score, oh and the control scheme is very unique.

Any q's and I will answer best I can!

Thanks for the post. I have two...um...three questions if you don't mind: 1) Did you encounter more than a reasonable number of glitches, game breaking or otherwise? 2) Do the controls feel accurate and intuitive, or do they tend to be frustrating? 3) I hope you don't mind this one, but is it correct to say that you are not the developer, a friend of the developer, or have any other type of involvement with the game? :-)

I enjoy games like this one, and for the price I plan to pick it up as long as it is half way decent.

Cool, well as someone said in a previous post, sometimes Divo bounces at random heights, so the movement can get a little quirky and your leap of faith can get a little complicated. Plus I have experienced oppsite movements after being flung around by the air vents!

The physics could do with a little tweak but the movement can be very responsive and using Divo's magnet ability can rock, definitely use it to cling on to metal surfaces to ensure traction from a jump or a few jumps, even when falling too!

I have not hit any crazy bugs at all, the english translation is a little odd, I think the dev could do with someone to go over that tho, but there is no web-site or way to contact the actual Dev for feedback!

I am not a friend of the Dev or part of Divos project, I just wanted to give Divo a try, there's a neat gem of a game, can be difficult for sure after level 5 but Divo is a neat puzzler anyone can play, the musics cool too and the whole idea is great.

Replayability seems kinda slim, there isn't a big reason to retry a level except to achieve a higher score, there is no online leaderboard too to challenge against!

Some collectables would have been great to give each level replay value, but there is a nice game here for the casual crowd, perhaps this could be something that would work extremely well on the Andoid market for sure!

No problem, there is a 2nd part that I just uploaded today with better game-play. The levels get much more challenging and you have to think of smarter ways around obstacles aswell as item searching to progress in a level, so waych out!
