It's a bit pricey for the type of game it is, in my opinion. It's a reasonable game for me, I didn't expect much when I was looking at the screenshots. It's basically just assigning the training practices to your team, reduce their addiction due to their night life activities, then there's the match simulation which has an engine from a generation or two ago. You could get more info from reviews on YouTube if you're still undecided.

Thanks for your answer. It looks on different Youtube Videos very fun, but i think for this price it hasn't a long enough "fun rate"

if u enjoy games like Roller Coaster Tycoon or Simgolf etc, you will probably like this game. If you arent into that type of thing id pass.

i like it. wont play it all the time but a nice fall back game to break up the typical mmo grind or rpg escapade.

This game is a combination of the Sims, Sim Golf and Football Manaager with some FIFA thrown in. IT's more complex than any one of these games alone except for Football Manager. Overall very good hybrid soccer game/management

I think it worth! This is an innovative game expecially if you think that the football world is dominated just by FIFA and PES or, in the other side, by Football Manager.
In Lords of Football you have a really full control on your team (skills, mood, vices etc) and each choice that you make establishes what happen during the match.

Yea i watched a lot of vids now, it looks really nice, but 25 Euro is much money for me right now. That is the point for me, is this game 25 Euro worth? Or should i'll wait a couple of weeks..

Greenmangaming have a 25% off voucher this weekend for LOF : GMG25-S0FSG-R7Z9B, which brings the price down to £18.75.

Also stop thinking $20 - $30 is too expensive, it's not. That's fair price for budget, non AAA title. Game like this could offer hours of entertainment and it wasn't really cheap to be developed. I think frequent Steam sales has spoilt us in recent years.

Sorry for thinking a low budget game like this where you can't do almost anything priced at half of what an AAA game costs is way too high. How dumb I am, right?

Nope, you're wrong, not everyone has USD. This game for me is like $150 USD for you.

So yes, it's expensive as hell. That's why many people only buy games on sale.

I wish I had not wasted my $$ on this game. In my opinion, this is most definitely not worth the money. UGH.

is there a demo, actually?

Sorry but that's not the way it is. It's a fair trade-off. There are plenty AAA title out there priced at two or even three times more than this game, yet fail to delivers. So the argument holds no water.

That's fair enough, thanks to Steam adherence of regional pricing. I would do the same too. This game for me worth no more than $30 at it's current state. If you're using GBP, Euro, Australian Dollar etc. just wait for sales.

However, in general $15 - $30 for budget, indie, non AAA title is fair to me, unless it's very crap or broken. The developers have to recoup the cost in order to survive in the industry. It's not just about the customer, it's give and take.

I think the game is a fair price. Even if I have shelved it in anticipation of a patch.
Developers I want to say thank you if you are reading this and I hope you continue to improve this game. I don't want this game to be football manager: the life. I like that this game is casual and that we can get through a season fast. My hangup right now is that this requires an active pause button.
