No, nothing wrong with servers.
Go on steam. Right click on Warframe and go to properties -> local files -> check game cache.
Then restart the game and re do update.

Does anyone know if it's at all possible to download the updates on their own and not via the game launcher ? The updates are pretty large and I have limited data available for use at home but I can easily download large files at the office, thanks.

I did that couple of times and for some reason it did not work for me. Every time I re open the launcher the update fails. More then that. Every time I do check game cache, there are 35 mb worth of files missing...

Actually, you are right! After repeating this for about 7-9 times it worked! Thank you!

Hey Nicholas, just copy the Warframe files to a USB -> Launch at work -> Update at work -> bring home and copy files.

I assume you're using steam?
My Computer -> Local Disk -> Program Files -> Steam (copy everything except steamapps folder)
Then create a new steamapps folder in usb -> go into old steamapps folder and copy Warframe folder into new steam apps folder.

Thanks DarkFane, yeah gonna have to do that however with the updates being so frequent it is a bit of a pain, I wish they would make the updates downloadable.

It seems to be a problem with Steam, not with Warframe.

I was having this same problem, then I tried to launch the game via the Launcher.exe file inside of my Steam/Steamapps/Common/etc directory. Launched and updated PERFECTLY fine. No problems. If I try and launch it via steam though it just conks out. I have no idea why, and it's a bit silly.

Tried this, didn't work.

UPDATE: Even with game re-validated, and me launching the launcher.exe file, update still fails.

PROBLEM NOT SOLVED!!! Same exact problem exist.

Should I just get the game through Warframe.com?

It seems to be a Steam/Launcher issue. I was able to get it up and running after using the Launcher.exe but it had to update approx. 2GB.

I went back and tried to launch through Steam and the same thing happened again as before. So the Launcher works outside of Steam, although attemtping to use Steam to launch Warframe does not. The only downside to using the Launcher.exe is that you don’t have access to Steam while playing which sucks if you have friends on Steam, make purchases, etc.

Please note that I have not had any issues for the past 2 months while playing Warframe through Steam. This just happened this week.

streaks_art, you may have to uninstall and re-install Warframe and then run the launcher only.

Till the update completes, pause or exit ur antivirus. when warframe launcher confirms tht the updates are complete, resume ur AV protection. perhaps thts ur problem too. tht worked for me and i hav had this prob for over a week.

Running the Launcher separately also helps but u wont be able to use steam wallet or shift+tab chat in between games and u might have to give up extra space for new installation.
