What is your opinion for the best weapon in this game?It could be primary,secondary,or melee what ever it is please leave a comment and share your opinion.

Certain weapons can be better for specific situations, but I would have to say that the overall best weapon is the Ogris, when properly modded with multiple Forma.

From a statistical standpoint, it'd be Supra or Acrid. As a personal preference, I enjoy Dera quite a bit.

best primary atm - flux rifle or ogris/torid if you have a cc frame and clan have weapon research done, also new wrath strun if you got it from event,boltor is decent for new players as well as sobek(sobek for players that have rank 4 or something around that)
for secondary - hikou is hands down best weapon - of course acrid is still best but is about to get nerfed , despair is very good if you get bp from stalker , twin gremlins are also very good , from normal guns lex is most likelly best normal looking gun , dont bother with other weapons other than for mastery ranking
for melle - fang prime and dual ethers for dual wield , orthos prime >hate>orthos , while there are alot of good melle weapons the easiest to craft and get is orthos , and it will serve you for a very long time and will be awesome , so best melle is orthos

I would have to disagree with syle. for secondary I find the bolto/akbolto to be good. also, vasto (single is better in my opinion) is good if you got either puncture or armour piercing on it. Boltor is not only good for new players. I got a catalsyt and two formas on mine, and it cuts through people under level 90 in only 1 or 2 4 round bursts. Glaive is a good melee if you know how to use it, but you will need a shotty as primary and medium range wep so you have options while glaive is flying. speaking of shotty's. the hek is always a good option if you have the mastery. good damage, and pretty much the only shotgun that I found you can still somewhat shotgun snipe with. In the end, most replies you will get will be pure opinion. some are better than others downright, but they don't get mentioned because they are playstyle specific, or people can't aim for weakspots so need innate armour ignore/piercing. instead, a better question would be what do you stay away from, and then by process of elimination, you get the weps that are best for you.

Alot of weapons can be good according to what you want through mods. Of course there will be some top tierers out there, but the weapons you'll want are mostly gonna come from what you're style of beating up the enemy will be. There's a good amount of weapons that are available that can be good and not crap.

Primary: Strun Wraith
Secondary: Acrid
Melee: Orthos Prime

primary is debatable but melee and side arm those are the 2 absolute best in slot

Primary: Torid, Lanka, Flux, Ogris, Strun Wraith, Sobek, or Snipetron Vandal.
Secondary: Acrid, with Despair in 2nd place (and the other throwing weapons in a super-easy to get 3rd)
Melee: Doesn't really matter, as long as it isn't a longsword or dagger. Hate, Orthos Prime, Orthos, or Reaper Prime all work, although at higher levels you'll want to go with either dual weapons for mobility or heavy weapons for knockdown and uninterruptible swings, so Hate/Dual Zoren seem to be the best endgame choices.
