Best weapon?

Hey guys, I've been playing Warframe for quite some time and I've still come to no decision as to what weapon is the all around best. Any opinion?

It's actually kind of a good thing that no weapon so far is really considered "the best". There are weapons that excel in their areas, but none that can really do everything all at once. The closest you can probably get is either the Braton, Boltor, or Hek for all-around killing. Braton is decent all-around, has decent accuracy, but not the best in damage in the game(still really good though). The Boltor can shred armored targets and keep Grineer stunned. Hek's damage is really high while still being functional at mid-range.

I like my Boltor, it simply melts everything in sight, in a sec.
(Nomatter if its Infected/Grineer or Corpus)
Using LEX for longrange one-shot sniping, as secondary..
Also have great fun with the Paris. and AKBoltors as secondary,..

Oh yeah, and the Glaive, having great fun with that as well..
(Hiding behind a crate are you? hehe,.. ill just richocet my Glaive on the nearest wall/celing)

I love my Gorgon modded with Split Chamber, Serration, Cryo Rounds, Stormbringer/Hellfire Piercing Hit. I wreck everything and owns in defense especially with Corpuses.

The "Latron" or whatever it's called? The single shot rifle; it kills most normal enemies in 1-3 hits.

Yeah, personally I favour using the Latron since you can deal good damage at a nice distance but the problem is in crowds up close you can't really fight em off well enough. @Suzaku You're probably right in that sense, but I bet that a certain combo of wepons could be pretty destructive. Maybe highly modded Latron and Viper?

I'm a fan of the Latron as well, powerful and efficient. My favorite gun to use, however, is the Boar. I mean, who wouldn't want to mow down enemies with a hose of pellets like that.

My favorite weapon for infested is the HEK, but for Corpus or Geneer I'd rather use a Boltor.

I used to love my HEK, recently reset though so need to find a new favorite in the meantime.

I love my HEK - Lex combo, Scindo as melee. As most said before, the " best " weapon doesn't exist. It's preference really. Other fav is Latron as main, and glaive as back up.

There is no best weapons.

Snipetron is actually really good if there are other players in the session. And if you die by the stalker you just revive,and besides...he spawns so rarely that you dont even care when he kills you or not,you just revive and give 0 ♥♥♥♥♥.

I use my LATO Vandal for just about every enemy type. Though, you can't get that pistol anymore. :(

The next best is a fully modded Lex. It wrecks everything when modded properly.

i think latron combo'ed with akbolto and bolter comboe'd with lex seem best to me

lex if not out dmg snipertron has more ammo and better firerate (think out dmgs it too)

latron great dmg and never run out of ammo

boltor and akbolto are basicly same tho akbolto is a little better (bolto isnt bad but akbolot ver better)

many love paris it has highest dmg in game i think still but too slow firerate for me (still have not tryed it with thunderbolt mod tho)

again i hate telling you this but the mods seem almost (if not all to geather) more importan that the weapon in many cases

ap mods are so importan, after that i like base dmg mods, ice mods and multishot mods

multishot mods are all vary rare but soooooooo powerful comboed with other mods

why ice is cuz it seems to do ok dmg to all enemys & slows all
why ap... so so many thinks have high armor so take extra dmg form this dmg type
base dmg types are cheap to eqp fr the reward you get out of them after there leveled a bit
multi shot.... basicly doubles base dmg and other mod dmg

elec seems to mostly effect one enemy sub type(tho stun is nice)... fire does alot of dmg but just the slow from ice seems more useful since fire's stun seems to wrok far less than ice's slow or elec's stun

firerate, slipsize, max ammo size, crite rate, crit dmg are all mods that you can use but i greatly perfer the economic and consisted dmg of the ones above... tho crit buits do work

i think multishot puts firerate mods to shame (tho they coast alot more to eqp)

*edit* didnt talk about penitrate mods... i have used them and they work but without supercharging i think they take too many slots up on a weapon***
