Crashing
Im playing on windows 10 i have everything set up and downloaded but once i hit play through the launcher nothing responds.

I had an issue with running XI on win10 before too, you may need to tweak your XI settings. I managed to get it working by running XI in windowed mode, changing my screen resolution & disable the opening movie. I don't have the Steam version though so unless its that.

There's also some possible fixes listed in this forum.
