Hi Ryche,

Thanks for your interest in WFTO! Your question is one that we see quite often and is extremely difficult to answer but I will do my best to give you as informed a response as possible. You can also see some of my other responses to this topic here and here

The problem is that questions like this are entirely subjective on a person-by-person basis, and while people have different opinions only you can decide whether something is playable for you. I recommend that you look around the forum here and on our website[wftogame.com], check out lets plays and see what people think right now.

We were recently at EGX Rezzed so there should be some videos of people playing there and interviews that might be useful to watch!

Most importantly the game is still in an early state, if you don't like playing unfinished products then, for now at least, we would recommend that you avoid it. If you're looking for a finished and polished game end to end we're not there yet and you may only end up disappointed, something we as a development team don't want to see.

If you're interested in Dungeon Management Games and would like to help shape the direction of our development through feedback then this may be something you'd be interested in trying. While we're still early days there are a lot of features implemented, and more to come. Many consider this enough to get a feel for the game, and what it'll become. For a full list of what's currently in the early release and what's coming up check out our store page.

If you do decide to take the plunge we'll be pushing a major update sometime in the next few weeks, this will include a complete overhaul of the UI and a few new Singleplayer demo levels alongside a host of new features, bug fixes and other changes. It's likely to be one of our biggest patches yet and will make the game feel more connected than ever before.

Ultimately whether you do decide to support the game at this stage or not is up to you, it's most important to us that you value your purchase. All we ask is that you keep your eyes on us and our project over the coming months. The game is currently sold at a discounted price for early access but we're liable to be here for a while so just keep your eyes peeled for news!

If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'll be happy to provide a response.

Kind Regards,

Lee

Great to hear that Ryche! Thank you very much for your support, we promise that we'll continue working hard at the game and hopefully deliver something that lives up to your expectations!
I refuse to make any such promise!
The time has come to strike!
