Is it for real so short?
I just bought it and played for a while. Then I checked howlongtobeat.com and it said it takes 1 hours to complete it. It doesn't look that short...

lol I just completed it.
I took a couple hours, I think.

If anything, it has a pair of speedrun achievements. I don't do speedruns so I didn't do them, though.

But the main point of the game is its thorough mockery of DLCs. And I think it does it well.

First part took 30-40 minutes, next part perhaps 1 hour? I mean it's only like a dollar.

Yeah, I don't always predict a game's length by its price. Now that I've completed it I just wish it had 3 or 4 more campaigns. It was simply awesome.
yeah, i could totally go for some more!! i love the satire, and the game itself was pretty decent for like, a dollar. :^)

Eh, i play the story of most games i don't really care too much about achievments etc.

First playthrough took me about two hours, but I did some time wasting stuff, for no reason :P. The grinding stone for instance, without the "Time saves money" DLC took me about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on how fast you abuse that X button, or designated keyboard key you might even do it faster. You'll get an awesome message, so try it >:D...

Oh, you DO get something for that. I need to try that sometime.

Achievements aren't just for E-peen, in many cases they flesh out more of the game that you wouldn't get to experience normally.
Or simply provide a greater challenge if you felt you didn't get enough of it.

Some games take it too far with arbitrary achievements like "die 1000 times" or "Collect 10,000 X", I condemn these games, but other than that you're really missing out a greater experience by just playing from point A to point B.

I kind of agree with this. I always check out the achievements in a game, after I finish the campaign, but some of the are simply dumb! I like achievements that challenge you, but I like it when it's normal. "Play again x level using only y" is normal for me, but "Beat the game over again without dying" is a worthless achievement.

I always want to take the best out of a game, but not all games have something more to give you after you finish the campaign. And it's not easy to figure out if it does or not.

(Sorry if I don't make sense. It's 00:59 and I'm drunk. Or I think I am)

I think for 1 dollar is ok. I took 2 hours for game

well, for a dollar, its not going to be a 15-20 hour triple A. nor should we expect it to.

also dont think length of game makes or breaks it. but it does have at least some relation to its asking price. if a 60 dollar triple A was only 2 hours, i would feel ripped off even if it were high quality. i wouldnt feel a 15 dollar indie is "worth it" just because it 50 hours but crappy.

(wow im rambling)

if time is the only metric :) and a 60 dollar AAA is considered fair or nomal at 20 hours average, thats 60/20=3 per hour.

or in other words, if on average, DLC quest is 2 hours, then 6 dollars would still be fair.
or to put it the other way, at its 1 dollar sale price, 20 minutes would be fair. (if its quality)

trust me. DLC quest left me wanting more as well. not because i felt ripped off in any way (nor did the OP say he was ripped off either) but rather, i just enjoyed and honestly want more. id be willing to pay for more should they come out with a sequal.

it would be funny if the came out with a DLC.
