Why do the dos games on steam run DOSBox version 0.72 instead of 0.74?
Who agrees they should run all the DOS games off of DOSBox 0.74?

you can try playing them manually... works better.. also try out skulltag.. works awesome with it.

LOL, where have you been, Skulltag is dead. Zandronum continues it's legacy.

Well, Zandronum is actually one hell of a port. The best way to play Doom in my opinion is with Zandronum. Not only it offers great and smooth gameplay on modern computers, it also has built-it modding and server support, so basically now you can transform Doom into any game you can imagine with your own hands, and then play it online with lots of doomers from around the world.
WhoDunIt, All Out War 2, Shotgun Frenzy... Zandronum rocks.

Get Odamex. It still focuses on actually looking, playing, and "feeling" like Doom.
