Laggy on a high-end computer?
I've got a quad core i60 with two GTX 670 and 16 GB RAM but Doom 2 still is laggy as hell. Is there any way to fix this?

Try finding dosbox.cfg (in the Steam game directory) and find these lines.

core=auto
cycles=auto
cycleup=500
cycledown=20

Change core=auto to core=max

This will make dosbox, which is an emulator, guess the correct amount of instructions to emulate each millisecond. You can also try core=dynamic but I think max is a better place to start.
