When it loads it asks a question about the key layout, say [Yes] and you will get WASD keys.
Then copy DOOM2.WAD to the .\PrBoom folder which is usually at:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Doom 2\base\DOOM2.WAD"
I've even added an [Open Folder] button to make it easier.
so theres no way to play it from steam?
theres like no reason to buy it then
There's still totally reason to buy it. You can fiddle with the sourceports to get them to use the Steam launcher anyway.
You can configure it so that Steam launches the Source Port and works 'better' than the default 'DOS Box Emulator' package that it comes bundled with.
