to answer your question:
I made an attempt to look through all the files and searching the dll files with "fps" and "display" but nothing familiar came up.
---------------------------------------------------------------
other than that failed attempt...
don't need to go above 30 unless your games suffer from frame drop and loss. 60fps is pretty gimmicky for games like call of duty that advertise it. People will argue because they like to stroke it to a high number, but the number is hardly relevant to what our eyes are capable of seeing.
people often mistaken 60fps as a great framerate compared to 30fps suffering from frame loss and drops during busy events. 60fps can drop to 40 and it isn't noticable. Drop from 30 to 20 and it will be very noticable because the eyes can see that kind of difference.
But again, people will argue because they want to feel like their computers are beasts and which 60+ is great, it's just hardly necessary for most games that aren't so heavy on the system.
just saying. Sadly, I'll have to unsubscribe from this to avoid the ragers lol.
Yeah, I actually found a way to limit it to 60 since then by enabling adaptive v-sync through the Nvidia control panel, thanks for the reply though.
I've tried playing it at 30 fps before and it's just a little too sluggish, like I could definitely tell that everything felt like it was slowed down and not going at.. "normal" speed, but it was still playable and controlable at least lol.
This game is strange, I've never really seen a game where the framerate dramatically affect the speed of the game.
Please do not ever post rubbish on here, you clearly have no idea what you are talking about.
There is a massive difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS.
Yeah yeah yeah, apologies for the noob website but this prob gives the best explanation. http://www.gamespot.com/videos/reality-check-do-we-need-60-fps-on-ps4-and-xbox-on/2300-6415658/
check one of these 3 methods
they work nicely with Dead Space. tell me if something is not clear
