Did I seriously just buy this for 9.99
I feel ripped off LOL. All this "game" entails is running around a 150 ft long beach alone, or talking with some french woman that drinks too much wine and moving chess pieces. I don't know what's sadder: the fact that the developers of this game have the nerve to charge money for it or the fact that I actually bought it :(.

There are artish games that offer more gameplay than the games of Tale of Tales do. Journey, Braid, Limbo for example. These are beautifully designed artish games which no one ever complained about as much as people do when they play the games from Tale of Tales.

I've deleted this game from hard drive... Any way to remove from Steam library altogether? So terrible I'd rather not remember my folly by seeing icon.

Exactly, those are "artish games," still primarily a game but with the some artistic window dressing. This is more of an art installation with some video game window dressing. It uses some of the technology and language of video games, but it's not supposed to be one in the traditional sense. The purpose isn't to provide the player with a challenge, but an evocative interactive environment. The fact that the description intrigued you enough that you bought it at all seems to indicate that you have some interest in non-tradtional games, I'd recommend giving it another chance. Think of it not as a game to win, but a moment to experience and it might make more sense.

You have to write a ticket to the steam support, they can remove it from your library, if you really want it.

I'm sorry you feel like you didn't get your money's worth. But it's not really a game, more like an interactive experience. It uses things we're used to seeing in games so it comes off as wierd and without a goal, but that's the whole point : there is no goal. It's just walking around and looking at stuff. All of ToT's offerings are like that.

Definitely the latter.
