this is good game but why not release it with updated emulator

can't the people selling these on steam relise that there's alot of emulators other then dos that can easily use this ?? seriously your selling this, so why not put some effort into it

Because legally they have to use the original files. Sourceports are copyrighted material too. You have the option of changing the sourceport to whatever you want, but Steam can't sell the game with a sourceport.

but duke nukem 3d megation edition uses the orginal duke nukem files and has it's own emulator to update the graphics.

The emulator is distribushed by its publisher.

I agree they should make a new port for these games though, but Bethesda needs to provide it. They made one for the XBOX 360 though, but I don't think we'll be seeing it coming to Steam.
