Weird- the games are getting mixed up.
OK, I was playing through TNT: Evilution and cleared stage 06: Open Season. After I killed the Arch-Vile at the end of the stage and jumped onto the ending platform, I was given a story scene where the Doom Marine talked about killing "the guardian" (bit of an overdramatic term for a single Arch-Vile) and recovering a device, before proceeding further on to look for a working prototype of it. That struck me as odd, so I did a bit of sniffing around and realised- this story scene must have been from The Plutonia Experiment instead (since the story of TPE is about a recovering a device that can be used to shut dimensional portals which the demons stole and is being kept by "the guardian")!

How the hell did that happen?

I don't get it, is there a problem with this or no? Final DOOM is TNT and plutonia patched together.

What's not to get? You choose to play one game or the other when you start it- either Evilution or Plutonia. I'm playing Evilution but getting cutscenes from Plutonia.

Everything. Did you change something or modify anything at all? if yes, then check what you did but if you didn't it could be a bug of some sort but I've never had this problem before.

This is a bug in the Steam release.
