I'm not normally a racing guy, but I am an explosion/weapon guy, so this game has a certain appeal for me.
The racing mechanics, the way the vehicles handle, the responsiveness of the controls is a positive in my book. It doesn't feel too loose or too tight. The weapons are relatively straightforward and require a bit of skill to properly target. This is a positive for me as well, as I don't see the point in having all the weapons just auto-hit. It also provides the opportunity for you to evade the weapons of other drivers.
The game looks attractive, the levels are visually interesting, though somewhat lacking in variety. While there are probably 20+ levels, they share only about 4 or 5 actual maps. The cars look shiny and colorful.
The multiplayer seemed reasonably populated, and didn't seem to suffer from any major latency/lag. It made for an enjoyable experience.
Overall, this is a fun little casual racing game, and if you can get it on sale, I'd say it's worth the price of admission.
