I wait and I wait and I start wondering if it will boot before or after the new millenium?!?

Same thing for the other TM2 games.

CPU: 2x Xeon x5690 +0.1V
RAM: 48GB 1333mhz
GPU: HD 7550 Ultra
SC: Creative ZxR
Disks: WD Black Raid 0
OS: Win 8.1

No issues playing FC3 or Trials Evolution in any quality setting.

Is there a solution for this extremely annoying issue?

I tried Ubisoft support, but it appears they don't know what is causing it.

Yesterday I was able to play this and all other Nadeo games without error. Today I'm stuck again on this 'please wait nonsense'.
Is there a bypass to stop trying to connect to nadeo servers as their servers fail big time and I can't launch when I want to play???

Why do I need an internetconnection for this partly singleplayer game?
I already have steam as DRM!

You have to be online to play on the solo campaigns of any TM² title. Are well online when launching your game?

Yes I always have internet, there is no doubt about it. My line has grade A and I am the only user of this internetline.

I am able to play at this very moment, but I'm affraid / quite sure the issue will return as it happend in 3 out of 5 periods of time i booted any TM2/TM United game... This is unacceptable.

I read on the internet that it probably has to do with not being able to connect to Nadeo servers. If so, this is practicly very customer unfriendly for people who have bad (coutryside) internetlines or are in a plane or whatsoever. I bought a game, not a service which can be discontinued by 1 party or which fails when something on Nadeo's end isn't functioning. I wanna play when I want, not when Nadeo's services have the time for me.

I am ok with tools that secure copyright protection, but a true customer should not be able to meet sheer negative effects of it. If this bootcheck is mandatory to run other Nadeo services, I feel Nadeo seriously needs to redesign their system as it is a designfault which will break them up eventualy.
Another designfault: who made up that by default blocked ports need to be opened in a router. "Yay, let's annoy our collegues of customer service and build this in"

To summerize:
Accept that something isn't functioning and solve it.
I would love to see the game getting patched to a skip all pre-boot tests. Saves a lot of pain for paying customers.
